Meadow Flat - Two Day Embroidery Workshop with Karen John - Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March 2026

Work with the lovely Karen John on a beautiful Meadow Flat embroidery that is designed to become a gorgeous cushion or perhaps a panel for a bag.

Class will run from 10am - 4pm both days.

The class fee includes the printed linen base cloth, pattern, stitch notes and the required needles. Participants should bring their sewing kit and embroidery floss, perle 8 and 5 threads. Thread options will be available in store for purchase if you don’t have a stash already.

A delicious morning tea and lunch is provided both days. Please advise of any dietary requirements. 

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Minimum numbers required. If minimum numbers are not met you will be refunded in full.

Accommodation is readily available in close proximity to the venue at shop 2/386 King St, Newcastle and includes Air BNBs in the same building, The Little National (approximately 800m walk) and Crystalbrook Kingsley (about 500m walk).

Please note the class fee is non refundable. If something changes to make attendance difficult we will endeavor to rebook your place for a 25% fee but a refund is not guaranteed.
