Beginners Quilting Course 10.30 - 12.30 Saturday 15th August, Saturday 19th September and Saturday 17th October.

Have you always wanted to make a quilt but don’t know where, or how to start? This is the class for you! 

Join Bec to learn the basics of quilting whilst making an Eadie Quilt (shown in the photos). Learn which notions make things easier, how to cut fabric accurately and basic machine block construction. 

You will need a sewing machine, as well as basic quilting notions (all available for purchase at the shop) but please bring any you already own. In addition you will need all the fabric to make your quilt - of course we have lots of beautiful options in store! 

The class fee includes the Eadie Quilt pattern which is a perfect beginners project. 

Class 1 - focus on measuring and cutting fabric 

Class 2 - learn how to piece blocks

Class 3 - start putting your quilt together

This course will work best for you if you have some time to complete homework between classes.

Class size is limited to six students allowing plenty of time to get the help you require.

Please note the class fee is non refundable. If something changes to make attendance difficult we will endeavor to rebook your place for a 25% fee but a refund is not guaranteed.
