Inaugural Newcastle Quilt Retreat with Bec (3-7 November 2025)

Join Bec for a week of quilt making at her beautiful shop sew.be curated in Newcastle NSW.

This inaugural stitching retreat will run for five days and will offer you the opportunity to work closely with Bec on any (or all!) of her quilt patterns. Bec can help you with all aspects of quilt making from fabric selection, through to hand quilting. 

Bec will meet you where you are to help your love of scrappy quilting blossom, or grow. All levels of experience are welcome.

Each day you will immerse yourself in the beautiful environment with other creative souls to work on your own amazing quilt/s. The space allows lots of room to be creative and much inspiration!

The retreat includes:

- five days of blissful stitching time 10am - 4pm, and

- catered lunch each day (please advise of any dietary requirements)

- optional dinner (at cost) at Blanca Restaurant on the Thursday evening.

Patterns and materials are not included, but are available for purchase in our beautiful space.

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Minimum numbers required. If minimum numbers are not met you will be refunded in full.

Accommodation is readily available in close proximity to the venue at shop 2/386 King St, Newcastle and includes Air BNB in the same building, The Little National (approximately 800m walk) and Crystalbrook Kingsley (about 500m walk).

Please note the retreat fee is non refundable. If something changes to make attendance difficult we will endeavor to rebook your place for a 25% fee but a refund is not guaranteed.
